THE EVOLUTION OF DARWINISM fellowship forum 9:30 - 10:30 am Cal Frye, Forum Leader Few scientific theories have caused the amount of debate and even social upheaval as Darwin's theory of Natur- al Selection. One reason for the un- usual reluctance to embrace Darwin's ideas is the difficulty shared by all the historical sciences, while the other is their direct applicability to the human species. Ever since pub- lication of "The Origin of Species" it has been (mis)interpreted to serve many ends unintended by Darwin and often which he would have found reprehensible. How can we have so many differing views of such a simple theory? All are welcome. FULL MOON WOMEN'S CIRCLE We next meet on Sunday, May 26, at 7:30 p.m. at Urban Hope UU Congrega- tion.
