ANNUAL MEETING CALLS REV DON ROLLINS The Fellowship called The Reverend Don Rollins to a quarter-time minis- try for OUUF at the 2002 Annual Meet- ing on June 16th, with no dissents and no abstentions. Ministerial Search Chair Ed Miller reported receipt of two absentee ballots on the matter, also in the affirmative. On a motion from the floor OUUF will issue a letter of appreciation for the ministry of Natalie Isvarin-Love, to be deposited with the O-M District to the attention of the UUA Ministerial Fellowshipping Committee. Dave Burwasser will compose the letter. Our delegate to General Assembly in Quebec will be Barb Fuchsman. The congregation adopted without amendment the 2002-03 Budget proposed by the Board, as well as the Board's suggestion of a "Plan B" budget to cover all the contingencies of our ministerial negotiations. Outgoing Chair John Marshall, looking quite well and recovered from his recent heart attack (and sharing his before-and-after X-rays), chaired the opening of the meeting. The (meta- phorical) gavel was taken over by incoming Chair Tom Phinney upon his election. Much of the "podium time" was exer- cised by Ed Miller, with Tom moder- ating, as Ed presented the reports of both the Ministerial Search Committee (calling Rev Rollins) and the Finance Committee (the Budget). The meeting went smoothly under the able guidance of the John, Tom and Ed, and adjourned at a very reason- able hour. (NOTE: This is a journalistic report, not official minutes.)
