Sunday Service – October 18th: “Fear: Always Lurking” – Edie Fuchsman

In every classroom, every party, and in every church gathering, fear is present.  It might be a shadow dancing around the outskirts, or it might be a huge monster smothering everyone.  Fear of judgement, of hurting another, of not being good enough are just a few examples; so we avoid, we guess what another wants, or we can be direct and get it all out of the way.
October is the time of year when the dark comes earlier each day.  The leaves fall and everything around us turns brown.  Death is in the air—one of our greatest fears. ‘Tis the season to face our fears and grow.
